John Zahn is definitely it. We’ve used him for repair work, taken
him out to look at cars, called him from dealerships asking his
opinion on different models, etc… and have always felt safer talking
to him before we make any decisions. He’s also super easy to talk
to, even for those of us that know nothing about cars. He never
comes across as condescending regardless of how ignorant the

knowledgeable. He knows Japanese cars inside and out, and will tell you the
"straight dope" on what you should and should not necessarily do in terms of
maintenance. He recently saved me money by explaining to me why most of the
repair recommendations that a garage/tire service gave me were not at all
necessary. He's also reasonably priced. He's flexible on timing, willing to
let you drop you car off whenever it's convenient and pick it up under the
same terms. You can't beat that!""
