I use Mat and John @ Zahntech for my major repairs. updates and other diagnosis/repairs I don't want to do myself. They have been accurate in their diagnosis on my Passat TDI, including those things to know about with cars beyond their warranties, including those preventive repairs you won't know about until its broken. One local dealer parts counter guys rate Johna and Mat as one of their 3 top repair shops where they sell parts. This is an "in the business" endorsement for sure. My TDI is 200K miles, and gong for 300K... :-)

I've been here 4-5 times with my VW TDI -- routine maintenance and repairs. Every time I've been impressed. Their mechanics really know their stuff, which means things get done quickly and for reasonable prices. I've also been to VW dealerships for service/repairs, and Zahntech is FAR better. Once a warning light turned out to be a false alarm, and I wasn't charged. This is definitely not the closest place to me (I live in Seattle) but I will definitely keep going back.

I've had breaks, engine mounts, transmission mounts, axels, all replaced here and been very happy. Knowledgable to do it right, very good communication with me about problems, pricing, and expectations for pick up. Was recommended to me from a tdi geek, and my 2005 Passat tdi has been well taken care of here. John and his team have been trustworthy and it takes stress out of dealing with shady mechanics. I would recommend them.

John and his team always do what is best for the customer. My battery has a 2 year warranty, it failed at 2 and half years. Instead of just charging me the cost of a new battery they replaced it and push back on the supplier about the life of the battery. I've been going to ZahnTech for 10 years and never had an issue with the service.

I am very impressed with Zahntech. I am so happy to have found a nice, affordable, honest mechanic shop. John was very good to work with. Will definitely go back (knock on wood it won't need to be any time soon).

John is a very knowledgeable guy, and did a great job fixing up my car for a reasonable price.

I only take my cars to John Zahn. He is super smart and very honest and he is awesome. This year my daughters transmission needed replaced. His price was 25% less than the dealers' before labor. Don't get ripped off. See these guys

When having my Acura TL Type-S serviced in the past, I've usually gone to the dealer. Today, I had a fantastic experience at Zahntech! I went into Zahntech to have a clunky noise checked out. They diagnosed the issue in minutes (a loose axle nut) and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. (The dealer had my car for an afternoon and thought it might need to replace the axle.) I'm so happy I went to Zahntech and will definitely be going back for my regular car maintenance.

I have been taking my cars to Zahntech for years now and have always been very impressed with their service and professionalism. However, this week they really upped the ante and solidified my "customer for life" status. After taking my 05 Acura MDX into the local dealership for a factory recall, they told me I needed a new radiator, a new CV boot and my rear brakes done as they were sitting at 2mm of surface (among other needed maintenance). This was at a cost of approximately $1,500. I later took my car into Zahntech for the needed maintenance and lo and behold, my brakes are actually at 6mm (more than enough for several more months of driving) and my radiator and CV boot are just fine. They also offer a better warranty on some services than the local dealerships. I won't take my cars anywhere else!

Great service, honest people. I will continue to take my car there for servicing.
